Haha. That is funny. I would love to go see these caves. There is always more one way to skin a cat. The poem was partly prompted by a childhood memory of a book illustration of the Nara Great Buddha being built top down. So in the cave the logic is to follow the flow, which is down. Must have been an impressive. Thanks for sharing this story. :D LikeLike
Hi Warren. Just wanted to say, I recently visited the Ellora Caves in Maharashtra, India. They were built from the top down, over nine generations of devotees! Only an amusing coincidence and not a criticism of your poetry :) Impressive tho hey? Peter LikeLike
