As far as I know, he is.
Many years ago he told he’d live to 99. And he is in his 80s now. Roshi sama “knows” more than he says.

To whom this may concern..
My name is Ralf van der Schaar, and I stayed in Bukkokuji in 1984-5, in two periods of three months (because of visa not valid more than 3 months), intermitted by a month stay in Bomosa, S-Korea. I wonder: is RoshiSama still alive?

Hello
I am trying to find out some more information about Bukkokuji Templeand also how to get in contact with them. A friend of mine studied there for one month and I would like to do the same. I have been studying different kinds of Buddhism, primarily Tibetan, and have come to Japan to learn more about Zen practices. Do you think it is possible to contact Bukkokuji Temple about studying with them?
Sincerely, Elen
