white paper from the start

a blank slate
or white paper –
our minds are
from the start
like this.

a mind
without sense-experience
will continue to be
a blank slate.
no perception,
conception, or signification
is possible
unless
we have
the initial
sense-experience.

I think I am

It is not
I think therefore I am,
but rather,
I think I am, therefore I am.
The difference is one of illusion.

forgiveness

if we think
only God forgives
then we are weaker
than we believe

forgiveness is
a matter of choice
not a given
just because
we are mortal

if we are willing
to forgive then
we have taken
the first step
to forgiveness

being willing
to some action
is something
we can do

that in itself is proof
we have the capacity
for forgiveness
